A Scaled Robotics Business Development Specialist will work with the management team to generate leads and translate customer’s business challenges into technical solutions through the Scaled Robotics platform. You will have the opportunity to help build a team and define the sales strategy. Taking ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and close, we are looking for driven people to join our tight-knit team delivering SaaS solutions to construction.

Your responsibilities ​​

  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle from initial outreach to negotiation and close, working closely with management and production teams.

  • Research & identify potential customers of Scaled Robotics, scheduling qualified meetings with prospects

  • Execute a high volume of outbound prospecting calls to potential clients

  • Perform thorough discovery to learn about prospective businesses

  • Educate potential customers about the benefits of the Scaled Robotics Platform.

  • Maintain and grow respected, trusted advisor relationships with customers

  • Engage in strategic account planning with the management team including CEO.

  • Comfortable with providing occasional post-sales support. This support should only be performed to continue the strategic relationship with the account and contribute to future sales.

  • The role does include travel for the customer and internal meetings, partner events and other events as required (highly depended on COVID restrictions).

  • Drive and energy to produce positive business outcomes for our customers.

You must have​

  • Experience in understanding customer processes and mapping technical solutions to customer needs

  • Must be willing to become an expert in the use of digital process within construction from Building Information Modelling (BIM) to Laser scanning

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team of technical, business, marketing and admin personnel

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Previous experience of sales is desirable however we are willing to consider individuals from a non-sales background but strong industry knowledge

  • Experience working sales software systems (CRM)

  • Keen listening and critical thinking ability

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple daily tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • An energetic and enthusiastic personality who takes initiative. We are a young company looking for people that will energize the process and drive us forward, willing to engage with all levels of a customer with a growth mindset

  • Strong English skills, other languages such as Dutch, Norwegian, French and Arabic are a bonus

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in sales, account management and account development.


Nice to have​

  • AEC Industry experience is preferred but if you have the right mindset for delivering high-quality innovative services, with experience and passion for helping customers improve their business processes in other industries, then we'd love to hear from you too

  • Further Education Qualification or Degree related to Architectural, Engineering or Construction Industry experience, desirable but not essential

  • Experience in SaaS sales.

  • Understanding of sales methodologies like Challenger or MEDDIC

  • A focused, highly motivated, self-starter with a track record of overcoming obstacles

  • Passionate about a sales career with an innovative construction technology company

  • An excellent phone communicator with strong listening skills

  • 3-5 Years in sales outreach, or hungry to learn how it's done.

  • Able to use social media to build industry profile and drive awareness of Scaled Robotics.
