As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be applying computer vision and machine learning techniques to image and point cloud data to understand and improve our products that help optimize our clients' construction projects. In collaboration with the rest of our learning and vision teams, you will actively contribute to key company projects in Structure from Motion, 2D/3D recognition, 3D Registration, etc.

Your responsibilities ​​

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and improve our users' experience

  • Apply computer vision and machine learning algorithms to extract insights from our data sets

  • Develop algorithms for robust sensor fusion and state estimation.

  • Implement prototypes to demonstrate potential value and validate ideas

  • Communicate the insights and help develop the product, with the rest of R&D and product teams


You must have​

  • Masters/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or related fields

  • Background in 3D Vision 

  • Strong fundamentals in structure from motion (SfM): SLAM, Visual Odometry, Probabilistic Filtering

  • Strong software development skills (C++, Python)

Nice to have​

  • Strong knowledge of the theory and practice of controlled experiments

  • Knowledge in Probabilistic Modeling, Nonlinear Optimization, Bayesian Inference, and Sensor Fusion

  • Experience with Machine Learning

  • Experience with commonly used packages ROS, OpenCV, PCL, CERES

  • Experience working with 3D sensors: LIDARs, RGBD Cameras, stereo cameras, and TOF cameras

  • Publication in top tier conferences CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, 3DV, RSS, ICRA, etc
