As a Junior Software Engineer in Data Delivery, you will assist our team in running our Data Processing pipeline over customer provided data. You will work closely with our Director of Engineering and Business Development to ensure that customer data is processed and delivered in a timely fashion.
You will be successful in this position if you are organized, possess the ability to pace yourself and prioritize work.

Your responsibilities ​​

  • Collect customer data coming in from our system and execute our data analysis pipeline on them

  • Deploy the results and communicate it to the rest of the team

  • You will be responsible for quality assurance on the pipeline results

  • Review and report any trouble related to the pipeline execution. 

  • Note: We will not ask you to develop software from scratch in the early stages of the role but it would be great if you gain knowledge about our software pieces in order to know when and where things can fail... or relax and supervise when everything goes smooth. 

Must have​

  • Current Masters or PhD student in informatics, computer science or related field.

  • Programming knowledge in C++ and python

  • Linux/Bash scripting knowledge

  • Analytical mindset, tech-savvy and able to understand an overview of our data processing pipeline.

  • Empathetic to contribute to software development and agile feature fixes.

  • Self-motivated and willing to assume ownership of customer data projects.

Nice to have​

  • Experience and understanding of data review and analysis.

  • Familiarity with concepts related to Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computational Geometry and/or willing to learn.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn software development applied to architectural language.

  • Customer service experience is a plus.
